Background
About the Isla Vista Farmers Market
The Isla Vista Farmers Market is a student-led initiative designed to strengthen community ties, promote sustainable agriculture, and improve access to fresh, nutritious food. Hosted in partnership with the Isla Vista Community Services District (IVCSD), this recurring market provides a space for local farmers and artisans to connect directly with students, faculty, and residents.
By prioritizing local and sustainable food systems, the Isla Vista Farmers Market empowers students to make informed choices about their food while supporting farmers who share a commitment to regenerative agriculture and environmental stewardship.
